Teaching Innovation

In this focus group series on generative AI (genAI), Teaching & Learning wants to hear what you, as an educator, have to say about teaching and learning with genAI. Sessions are 1 hour. There are no prerequisites for participation: sign up for any one, two, or all three focus meeting topics.

Please note that these are not teaching and learning opportunities that provide compensation.

Future focus meeting 2: (EDF0030) The impact of generative AI in our disciplines and industries

This second of three 60-minute focus group sessions explores how generative AI may impact your discipline. What aspects of your profession are most impacted by genAI? Is genAI already used in your industry? What key skills may be transferred to or shared with genAI? How can you help prepare students for an AI-driven future? What skills must your students learn regardless of genAI? What kinds of support will you need as genAI becomes a fixture in your profession?

Offerings (meetings are in Zoom):

  1. Friday, November 24, 10:00 – 11:00 AM

Come share your thoughts, experiences, and insights. Sign up via the Student Portal to join these one-hour Zoom meetings.
