Welcome to Conestoga

Hello and welcome to Conestoga College’s world-class community of teaching and learning professionals! Here at Teaching and Learning Conestoga, we’re incredibly excited for you to join us on this next stage in your own professional teaching and learning journey. We’ve designed this page to help you get situated as you settle into your teaching position here at the College.

Getting Started

Though you may already have received one, we’ve linked a copy of the Conestoga Faculty Onboarding Checklist for ease of reference. This isn’t a document that you’ll need to submit, so feel free to use it however you wish to help track your onboarding progress.

Begin your orientation by opening the document and browsing the links in the accordion below.

Here are several resources to help get your journey started:

Optional

  • Submit scanned Direct Deposit and TD1 forms to Payroll.
  • Purchase a parking permit or download the Honk Mobile parking app.
  • Obtain printing codes for photocopiers and the M&T Print Shop.

Access the Conestoga Employee Training site to complete the necessary standard employee training modules.

Once completed, access the Conestoga Employee Portal to confirm that your training status has been updated on your employee profile. To find your training status, open the Human Resources tab, then select Employee under the Training sub-tab.

Human Resources at Conestoga requires that all part-time and full-time faculty complete these four mandatory courses prior to the end of their first semester of teaching, or, preferably, prior to starting.
