In the video below, Tricia Dumais, Professor of Early Childhood Education at Conestoga College, tells the story of a land acknowledgement in the form of a children’s book that she created together with friend Doe O’Brien-Teengs during a leave of absence from the College. Tricia explains how she uses the land acknowledgment with children, and also as teaching tool for students of ECE.
