This course will provide a high-level overview of using, understanding and interpreting Turnitin and its various features on eConestoga. This teaching basics workshop includes a) a brief description of common features and developmental characteristics of Ontario high school graduates, b) a chance to select and match the effective teaching practices for domestic first-year students, c) an opportunity to discuss realistic classroom scenarios with colleagues, d) a debrief that includes brainstorming strategies for supporting first-year domestic students.
