Generational diversity is commonplace in work settings, but how common is it in the college classroom? In this workshop, we will look at the growing evidence for generational diversity in post-secondary education. We will take a closer look at the learnings needs of teenage students, direct-entry students, and mature students. We will explore how generational differences impact an educator’s style of teaching, a student’s preferences for learning, and the interactions between students and educators in a college setting.
