There’s no denying that generative and assistive AI tools are catalysts for change in higher education. There is much discussion about how these tools impact assessment and academic integrity, but less exploration of the impact they have on Teacher-Student relationships. In this workshop, participants will be invited to reflect on important questions about trust, values, transparency, and power dynamics in the age of AI-infused post-secondary education. We will use exemplar scenarios to measure our own experiences and feelings against scholarly findings on the topic.
