We all want our students to learn important ideas, concepts, and skills from our courses long after we teach them. Even better if they can transfer this learning to new situations! In this workshop you will learn how memory works, how we learn and forget, and how to make important learning from your courses more ‘permanent’. Then, using UDL principles, we will work with a variety of easy-to-implement learning strategies to engage every student that promotes high impact learning and fosters classroom community – both in-person and online.
