In this workshop, we will focus on students at the margins of the teaching and learning space: we’ll think about the only woman in the trades shop or the mature student attending a post-secondary institution for the first time. Come examine situations where a student faces the experience of being “other” and learn strategies for cultivating connection to enact inclusion and care.
